Robert Detrano's Photography
This collection belongs to the Detrano family.
We created the photos and videos between 1930 and 2021. My parents, Joseph and Adele, created the photos, labeled "1955 Family Photos" during my childhood.
My intention is that this collection remain with the Detrano family forever. After my death, I place this collection in the trust of my daughther, Daphne. Please enjoy viewing the photos and videos.

How I collected the photos. The photos from my childhood, in the gallery named 1955 Family Photos, were made using black and white film and commercial dark room printing. I photographically recorded the resulting prints onto a digital camera. I shot the 1968 to 1970 black and white photos using 35 mm b/w film. I developed the b/w negatives and, in 2019, digitized these negative images using a negative scanner. I recorded the color photos collected between 1968 and 1995 with Kodachrome or Ektachrome 35 mm slide film. In 2004, I had these images digitized to TIF format. Since the high resolution TIFs used much space on my 1990s desktop computer, I compressed them to much smaller jpeg images suitable for computer screen display of that time. A flood destoyed the Kodak image slides and the CDs containing the high resolution TIFs. I uploaded the lower resolution jpegs to web galleries using Adobe and FTP software. Unfortunately, these 1968 to 1995 images are of low resolution. I created the videos using various cameras, including wildlife trail cameras. I edited these extensively with Adobe software and uploaded them to this site using FTP transfer software. Some of the galleries and videos are password protected. These protections are due to contracts between those who allowed me to create images of them and their properties and myself, which contracts required privacy.
